i just recently bought the e1405 with the intel gma 950 which sucks. ive heard in some forums that dell allows some video cards to be upgraded. the intel gma was the only option for this computer but i was wondering if there is another card that would fit that i could install. maybe the x1400? anyone know if that is possible?

Still it wont be possible with the integrated graphics solution. Also Dell has no plans to fit any sort of dedicated memory graphics sub system in the e1405 and was confirmed by them to the site admins...
