    For all you guys who watched E3 2008, what did you guys think of Sony's presentation? I really liked the huge monitor setup and the lighting, but the actual content of the presentation itself was very lacking and really didn't have the "umph" I was expecting. He talked about no JRPGs and have bit Microsoft's bullet. :(

    Well... there's the ES port.lol

    JRPGs are pretty much the only games I play on consoles so a 360 for me for now. ToV is coming in a month and I still haven't been called back for any job >_>

    I'm jobless too and if there had been just two reasons for me to get a PS3 I would have done it. Unfortunately Insomniac games are the only thing that makes me want a PS3.

    It's coming on X360 and is probably partially funded by MS. I mean, Tales of doesn't sell at all in North America and for whatever reason we're getting a story that is targeted to an american audiance (what the guy said in an interview) + simultaneous release + skits ("face chats") fulled voiced in English.

    Sony makes me mad at all the mistakes they are making in this console generation... makes me cringe that FFXIII is no longer exclusive. What the hell, Square.

    I'm sure this thread will get locked or moved soon.

    Anyways FF XIII was indeed a backstab from Square-Enix, but we still have Final Fantasy Versus XIII as exclusive and Final Fantasy XIII will still stay PS3 exclusive in Japan.

    :D Lets be honest, nobody was expecting anything great from sony anyways. a dual analog stick psp would have been huge, but otherwise they don't have any great new games to even compare to Gears of war 2 and Fable 2. Xbox and nintendo really took over this gen. My bet is playstation will be at the bottom for at least two more years.

    I think you meant Microsoft. About the big games coming on PS3 there is GOW3 or LBP. I don't think Resistance is big enough to challenge Gears but Fable 2... that's another story.

    Fable 2 has been at the height of my anticipation list for years.

    Fable 2 and Halo 3 sold me on the xbox 360.
