Guys I didn't see any E3 thread here ? Surprising. Here it is.
Starting with Halo the most awaited MCC collection is coming to PC, $9.99 on Steam for each title and starting with HALO Reach which will come first.
And then we got the trailer/teaser for the Halo Infinite unfortunately the game didn't had any gameplay and it is a soft reboot (Which doesn't inspire much since most Halo fans consider Halo is upto 3 and perhaps Reach)
Halo Infinite - E3 2019 - Discover Hope
Game footage, that means Zen 2 + Navi, doesn't look bad but doesn't look great either given the hogwash PR from the MS for that 8K 120FPS never seen before gaming.
Cyberpunk 2077 — Official E3 2019 Cinematic Trailer
Hyped up for this FPS RPG. And unfortunately there has been a lot of Political Bashing going on about the game from the obvious, Hoping that the final product will be unfazed and deliver high quality. Mr Wick surprise was dope.
Parabellum was bad to me, the pacing and steam all went out after first 20mins, and the high table characters were bleak and unnecessary and the final act was so bad.
The first part club scene sequence with it's selection of superb music and the cinematography, even the second part where Italian mafia sequence and then bulletstorm happens its just insane. Damn High table guy in that desert ? really LOL, Bronn (GOT stupid character) gets bitten, as if he is there only for that ugh just messy including that action sequence.
Wick going back again off his character, that was established as an ex-hitman is 180 flip, awful writing, plus the action was fatiguing, nothing like 2nd and 1st part where the first was a small scale startup type movie which blew everything off and felt super refreshing especially Keanu's acting felt real and the dialogues of people were on dot like laser precision the grandeur of the 2nd part how both the movies had proper depth in the story and characters and connected all of them, Parabellum fails in all aspects wonder where did the mishap happened.
Don't even mention the stupid final sequence which has only one good point the lights, and fights are too slow, boring and wasted talent from Raid movie emulated Enter the dragon failed miserably. Went to IMAX to watch this.
Happy that first and second spawned a solid character of Wick coming CB2077 is dope.

And the titan of the show of the E3 floor the most awaited DOOM Eternal
I was very happy to see their concept arts come alive for the Story mode as you can see the story trailer from E3
And to keep the rush flowing here it is the Quakecon Demo
E3 teaser of 2018
And this for those who are interested, I would like to see you input on this.
My take on the DOOM Eternal
I liked the Quakecon HUD, but this new E3 HUD looks horrible and the whole font with the tutorial screen is worse, the 2016's version was so seamless and non intrusive and very good looking. Quakcon one was like a proper evolution, notice the dash on that vs the latest E3 you'll understand more also that demonic corruption vs the old circles we had on 2016's HUD and not to mention that abomination of the multiplayer Invasion which is probably kicked out and Battlemode took it's place both are bad.
Coming to the super cool parts, the Meat Hook is insane, the Pain Elemental in action is cool, the Ballista is solid, spiked imps are superb, extra wall climbing is cool and the textures of the Demons and the resolution scaling of their new iDTech7 is superb.
If you are interested, I found this another video (Below) which has some extra footage showing the stupid tutorial screens like and the inclusion of ruins into the game itself plus the power ups. Nothing on the level of the Argent cells feeling that we found in the DOOM 2016 nor there are signs of the Slayers testaments (Spoilers maybe so not much ?) in the Demos and that sick voice.
Plus the new design of the Hell baron is really bad, charred mess of some hot lava bull is trash. I wish that they keep him muscular like old Baron plus those green orbs makes him look badass, like top tier ranking of the demons but ain't getting my hopes high. And no summoner in the demos so far sadly.
Next up in the story trailer you noticed Samuel Hayden being in some statis chamber sorts considering the ending of 2016, Samuel Hayden was only guy along with Slayer who was able to cross dimensions and also built the whole damn UAC with Argent energy and VEGA ofc his Voice acting too. It was disappointing to see him like that. Anyways no idea what's there for us, just hoping it's satisfying like 2016 masterpiece which was the best FPS ever played for the whole damn decade.
Mick Gordon is returning which is super nice. Finally they said this is the 25th year Anniversary for DOOM and more at Quakecon 2019, hopefully they get their feedback and allow us to change that stupid tacky looking HUD. And also allow the damn modding FFS, we will get so many variations of the DOOM with the new engine, but hopes are again less they event sent a seize and desist from Zenimax to a guy who is modding the DOOM remake 4 even when it was based off GZDoom.

Wake the f*** up samurai is now my alarm...
I have been less into gaming in the past few years and lost all interest to follow releases and such... but after Witcher 3, I had an urge to keep tabs on CDPR and I am hyped!
P.S. You are all breath taking!Last edited: Jun 17, 2019 -
Wait a sec, so I can finally finish the fight in Halo 3?
Only took 12 years then eh? -
E3 got me more excited for Nintendo than anything for PC (Banjo-Kazooie in Smash! A Zelda: BotW sequel!). But I'm excited that Ori and the Will of the Wisps finally has a release date (February 11, 2020), and damn does it look fun--and gorgeous.

But The Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay footage turned me off a bit. The combat looks rather stale, a lot like The Force Unleashed but without force lightning. I hope it ends up being better than that. Either way, its graphics sure do please the eye--but that won't be enough.

And Hollow Knight's sequel, Silksong, looks amazing. We got to see substantial gameplay footage during the Nintendo Treehouse Live. I haven't watched much of it to avoid spoilers, but here it is if you'd like to watch it. I can't wait to grab this for PC (no release date yet, unfortunately).

And yeah, Cyberpunk 2077 of course looks great--and like the Deus Ex-ish game I've been wanting to get my hands on since Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Looking forward to it.
And the Xbox Scarlett announcement is only good for us PC gamers, as its higher specs will help push things forward in the PC market as well. Support for 120fps is especially good news. Though they're obviously getting a little ahead of present reality with 8k support. I expect the graphic quality settings to be dialed way, way back for most games running at 8k @ 30fps, never mind 8k @ 120fps.
All in all, this wasn't the best E3, but there are some really exciting nuggets in there. With next-gen consoles coming out holiday 2020 (or at least Xbox Scarlett), I'm sure next year's E3 will be bonkers.Last edited: Jun 18, 2019hmscott likes this.
