E3 Favorites

So after watching E3 what did you all think about the slim bits of PC gaming? I was pretty disappointed by the Assassin's Creed demo they did, i counted 7 glitches the first time through. The "never chase the same way twice" was retarded, oh he's arrogant so he'll wait for you.... ummmm what?

Oh it's official, gears is coming to PC, but am I the only one not excited for that? I think I will be just fine with Crysis.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed that after all that talk about getting a better xbox live experience and xbox marketplace that they made NO mention of their games for windows live network. How much longer must we wait before we can go head to head with all of our friends on their xbox's?

idk if you havent noticed i would like to keep this thread pc related, im tired of ps3 and xbox fan boys telling everyone why their console is the ****. This is a computer forum after all. Well what does everyone else think?

Wait till Thursday when all the individual Devs get the attention instead of the Big 3 consoles.

Honestly, I would love to have the chance to play Gearz after hearing so much about it on the XBOX. It kind of made me hate XBOX fanboys even more, but the game looks stunning nonetheless. I'm hoping that Assasin's Creed will be a lot better than the demo and am also dying to wait to see more Crysis.

 

So far, the NiGHTS trailer is all I've seen from E3, and by far my favorite

 

I am extremely tired and disappointed by this year's "conference-only" E3 2007.

I have seen the following:

Halo 3 Trailer (last night )

Resident Evil 5 (lame press conference)

Mass Effect (looks to be a good step from KoToR series)

Simpsons Game (i am more excited about the movie coming up at the end of this month)

The really lame thing is I have to work at the same time at this year's E3. I have to drive up and down southern California (LA to OC to SD... and vice versa)

 

Mass effect and Spore.

Not that excited about PC gaming, though that may change once I get around to playing Oblivion

super smash bros:brawl comes december 3rd

this will be the greatest day in gaming history (yeah i said it. Halo 3 will be amazing, but no game can bat smash bros gameplay and value)

 

I'm actually interested in so many games. Even though I don't have even one of the next-gen consoles, I am still looking forward to them because I am a potential buyer.

I really enjoyed the Microsoft conferences....even though a lot of people believed otherwise. I didn't really like the Nintendo show I watched today. It was kind of dry because I'm not a casual gamer. I wanted to see more of Mario and other flagship titles. WiiFit does look nice though.

 

the person mentioned mario galaxy (which looks amazing), super smash bros brawl, mario kart for the wii (going online), and that mario Olympic game...

 

The one game I'm really looking forward to on PC is Flagship studios Hellgate: London, made by some of the people who developed Diablo 2.

P.S. - I just wanted to add something about the Assassin's Creed demo at E3. I was really anticipating great gameplay and storyline and I was satisfied with the demo. However, I was kind of shocked and I felt sorry for I think her name was Jade...(girl that giggled too much) when they killed the guy from behind and then his body was just floating there. Then there was the jump at the very beginning when no one saw him fall into the hay....lol

I hope they fix the glitches and things before it ships. I really love the game though. I actually found the chase system very cool as well as the fighting mechanics.

The sad part is that Crysis is first game I'm going to purchase since I bought Half-Life 2 off Steam 3 years ago.

 

Super Smash Bros Freaking Brawl!

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about Hellgate. Overall, so far I gotta say it has been a bit disappointing. The only PC games that I'm looking at getting are Spore, Crysis, and Hellgate.

The 360 and Wii's line-up looks impressive though.


Edit: Can't forget about Starcraft II.

 

Assassins creed is the best game in the world

 

I cant wait for crysis and gears of war for the pc. Also killzone 2 looks really good. I really wanna try it. Hopefully they fixed the issues that killzone 1 was plagued with.

 

Yea I cant wait for Crysis and RE5!!! I was a big fan of RE4 and now I need to get a 360 or a ps3 for that game. Also I saw a lot of footage on the Simpsons game and it look pretty fun and o Mercenaries 2 look hella awesome!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this game....a lot. I hope the gameplay is a lot of fun. The problem with Killzone 1 was the gameplay.
