I don't want to tie my current Origin account to Steam, so this is great going forward ...may even repurchase 2-3 during a sale. [Edit: Just realized I probably can't have 2 Origin installs { ...I'm still waking up}. Not sure if it will force old account or allow additional guest creation anyway.]

It would be nice if Bethesda, R* and Ubisoft [...mostly Bethesda] followed suit as this seems like just the workaround to my no new game clients/accounts rule.

Trying to figure out exactly how this works. I refuse to let another scumbag player force me to buy games through another portal, sign in to another service, etc. I wont buy the new Star Wars game for instance unless I can do it on steam without signing in to any other service. I'm done with that crap: GOG or Steam, pick one. No, I don't give a crap if they care or not, I vote with my wallet and stick to it.

My guess is it installs Origin then runs off the same credentals copied over to autosign you in. I want to see how hassle free it is in practice.
