    How many MMORPGs do you play anyway, pb?

    Sorry, a bit off topic, but this, WoW, FFXI... How do you balance THAT?

    well right now im just playing one (EQ2). the others just arent appealing to me anymore for some reason..but i have played

    EQ1, DAoC, UO, SWG, WoW, EQ2, CoH(for a day), and some others..

    all lost their appeal, but i usually revisit them after awhile..EQ2 though is getting very good ATM. still a lowbie, but the community is amazing.

    also, i havent really even played any other games but EQ2 for a few months now. EQ2 has stunning visuals, and my desktop can only play it on high quality at >30 FPS. their extreme quality is recommended to have like FX62+ 7900GTX SLI etc.. its stunning. ill see if i can post some shots from in game on sunday night.

    The screens I saw a while back of the previews to it when i used to have a subscription to Game Informer looked absolutely gorgeous, probably even better by now.

    My friend tried it and he liked it, I don't think I will though, I'm quitting FFXI for now, I may go back later though, but MMORPGs have become way too time consuming for me.

    yea i understand..MMORPGs are a huge commitment (hence summer break), much easier to manage things while not in school.

    its just really cool how a game that came out 2 years ago STILL cant be run at 100% eye candy yet. the community is very nice too, people willing to help for most things, AA's, tradeskills..its all very cool...not to mention EQ2 has podcasts ..lol..

    FFXI had one podcast, unfortunately t wasn't that great and hasn't been updated in like, several months...
