We can expect a slew of big franchise fighters headed our way to pc for 2015 in what I think is the biggest year for fighters in pc game history. DragonBall, MortalKombat, Tekken, Dead or Alive, Naruto, and Streetfighter are as big as they get and there all headed to steam within the next year. I may have even left out a few as I also expect some smaller lesser known indie fighters also. With all these big brands headed our way I cant help but feel pc gaming is at a height of popularity never seen before. The pc world is now becoming a major platform of choice for many players around the world and I think its really a turnaround compared to last decade when there were only a couple of fighters floating around the pc market.

Hey pals, with that being said I have some questions:
which ones that are headed to the pc float your boats? What fighting game have you been playing currently on any system and what is it about them you like? What other fighters if any that was not mentioned would you like to see? And finally, what are your thoughts of the influx of fighters headed to pc?

I had fun running through the story of injustice last year. That's about as far as I'll go with fighters though.

I had a great time playing through Sleeping Dogs. I didn't know anything about it and I thought it was a FPS (WRONG!!!). But I enjoyed the story, learned the moves and it was a great game. I go way back with mortal kombat, and street fighter, and my kid enjoys naruto (manga, cartoon whatever). Also enjoyed Tekken 6, Dissidia and it's sequel, Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, Soul Calibur all for the old PSP.

Given the hundreds of fighting games already existing on PC I wouldn't call this to much of an influx, but more like a porting over. However that's the only issue w/ maintstream, a lot of these games got their run/ideas from many of the others that have been circulating for years. Once I get home I'll upt a list together of all the fighting games I have on PC, and then some others that I've ordered, some of which are above and beyond. The games listed above however are somewhat mirrors to what these games were doing nearly a decade ago at this point, which is kinda depressing seeing as Capcom could easily take it to the next level.

As for the games listed in the OP, they're all good just played them ages ago as well as some of the new ones maintain the same system so not much changes, I do love diversity though which is why I play so many(usually when traveling)

    however
just wanted to bring this to light after seeing that. It's not expected everyone to follow things other than mainstream though, as I was introduced to hundreds of others through forums, visiting other areas in the world and googling a lot. I'm not talking just Japanese fighting games either ( which hundreds have been released in english ) there were many US PC fighting games, but just like Clevo and some of these other high end brands that NBR speaks of, they don't get advertisement either, just one LARGE as hell fan database lol.

So with that said, continuing to answer the OP's question~ I'll post a well detailed list when I get home, but the first few games that come to mind, starting in the early 2000's and moving up are Queen of hearts 99, Party's breaker, Variable Geo (disable afterscenes) Metal & Lace II , OMF Battlegrounds, Toho fighter (many versions ), Battle star fighter, Lyrical Fighter Online ( one of my fav's since people added in famous anime characters like Lina Inverse <333 ) Toho 2011 fighter ( bluray )

I'm forgetting a ton, heck I have a full shelf dedicated to them, I'll take a close up pic when I get home, but yeah I used to be big on them, and still play time to time.

There's a bunch of fighters that recently came out and upcoming ones that I'm really looking forward to as well. Some of the fan bases for the forums for many of these run between the 100k ~ 3m+ users.

Anywhoo I'm @ work about to leave and get some Ph0, so I'll update this later and put a more extensive list, pics w/ each etc.

Again this is more to alert that there ARE indeed tons of others fighter games out there, and I'm simply just spreading the word to those unaware~ I have tons uploaded too which I can link to as well. Many of which support multiplayer/online/link support~ <3

I hear ya, I actually got addicted to skull girls a while back and honestly I prefer that art style. I also enjoyed virtua fighter back in the day and would love to see that make a home on pc. There just seems like so many choices of big name fighters all coming in for 2015 its kinda crazy but I love it. I also made a name for myself modding a bunch of the recent popular games. My MK9 mods still give me thank you messages in my inbox. I would supply a link or two but im not sure if its allowed if anyone wants info on it pm me.

Anyway I really do like seeing pc becoming the plat of choice. And I like all the fighters I played trough the years some get better with time BUT most get worse lol.

No wonder you stopped playing fighters after that lol that game was terrible for me. I much prefered MK vs DC over that one and I hated most the costumes had to mod that game like crazy and the mods were painful to create lol.

Sleeping dogs is more of a action game but I hear what you said about the others its kinda the same with me. As far as Naruto and dbz anime goes it seems like those games get worse and worse. The best experience with those games were on ps2 for me. My kids also play it but not even that much anymore. Naruto continues to take away things people like and not add things people want, and dbxenoverse looks no way as good as ps2 ones or even raging blast. Its like all those games are trying to be SF but whatever bring it on pc and make the modders do all the work making the game fun. lol

I'm just not a huge fighting game fan, the superhero angle and rock bottom price was enough to spend 5 hours or so on it. ;)

Forgot to mention that I still play my psp fighting games on my pc using PPSSPP program. Bleach is a great fighting game, although it is in Japanese. I press all the buttons until I figure it out.

Maybe in 2007, it's bollocks compared to other games now.
