    Hey guys

im really new to pc gaming only beeen at it for acouple of months, in that time ive brought a heap of new games for the notebook: morrowind, SoaSE, oblivion goty, CoH gold, dawn of war anthology, masseffect, c&c generals, fallout3, and CoD WaW, i was given advice that i could mount the isos of these games and play them without having to keep on putting in and pulling out the discs, im back in india now and i dont have pc internet connection and all of a sudden CoH asked for the disc to be put in to continue the same thing happens with CoD WaW.

i havent tryed it with all my games yet, but is this a normal thing to happen and is there any way i can get things back to the way they where? I hate having to keep on changing the discs over, oblivion still works fine and so to does fallout3, im wondering if it has to do with not having a online connection which means my account doesnt get verified at startup.
Any info or tips on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Some discs are going to use SafeDisc or a similar protection method, so it can tell that the ISO is not the original disc.
Rather, most discs will have this.
Fallout 3 requires no disc to play, which is why it works. Probably the same with Oblivion.
You need something else to play with no disc, but I doubt it's allowed to be discussed on NBR.

Oblivion requires a disc... very annoying.

If you have no internet, how did you post this?

Also, I am afraid that the solution to your problem is against the rules here on NBR. So there may be no good way for us to tell you how to play games with NO CD.

Yeah with NO CD I'm not sure how to patch the situation. Like if you can borrow a game copy of World in Conflict from a friend, it may help.

I like to play a mega amount of games.

I am sure there is a game that you can copy in this world.

Honestly my best advice would be to buy your games on Steam and then you would never need a disc, but that is assuming you actually buy your games which it sounds like you don't.
