    Hi there.

    Here is my case:

1.- I really LOVE brothers in arms hells highway ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWM_iTYAY0U) and I would like to play at 1024x769, med-high settings, 4AA, 2xAF (more or less) and still 25+ fps. And same with ArmA with same settings.

2.- I have nothing to play on (well, just a old lappy with a intel 82852 wooden graphics card :D )

    3.- I can only buy a 15,4" laptop

4.- I need it before December

What would you do? buy a laptop now with a nice core2duo 2gigs and a 8600GT?

    thanks

Well if 15, 4" is the only thing you can get then yep core 2 duo , 2GB ram and a 8600M GT is the best out there so far, and I reckon it will be able to pull off Brothers in Arms at 1024x768 on high settings.

My advice would be to wait a while, after one or two weeks people will have gotten their pre-orderd notebooks with the 8600M GT and so benchmarks will be out which will let you know for sure.

Here is a laptop that might interest you, it fits all your requirements, will be available in late June, early July, costs about 1399 Euros

I am also waiting for the acer aspire

    thanks.

Here in spain i dont think that will get lower than 1700. Just for being nice and top-model.

    Spain works like that :(

Basically my options are limited. I just want to play BIA 3 and ArmA at configuration above. If i can just do that with a core2duo 2GHZ, 2gigs ram and that nice 8600GT i would be very happy.

lol It should be cheaper, prices around europe shouldnt vary that much, and yea I hope it will be a great laptop too (I have a feeling it will be, people are dissing the 8600M GT now but we do not have its proper performance in games and the vista drivers are also causing some of its performance to be lost, but hopefully it will perform great)
