Hi guys, is there a way to play Elder Scrolls: Oblivion without the disk? I have the game, but my dad likes to play the game, and i dont want to have to share gameplay so is there a way for me to play on my laptop and let him play on his computer simultaniously? i have daemon tools but im not particulary sure how to use it. Thanks!
note: this is legal to do since i DO have the actual disk right?

Just use mounting software, such as your Daemon Tools, to mount the ISO of Oblivion. It's not illegal as long as you own the original disc (I think). Even if it's not, no one's going to catch you.

[link removed by mod] is easier to use.

this will be closed because of the grey area that is kinda piracy, but I feel its just fine if you own the original rights to the game.

This is illegal even without the DMCA because you are asking to be able to play the game (with a single license) simultaneously on two seperate machines. Just buy it from Steam or some other direct download service and you won't need the disc. But to play on 2 seperate machines at the same time, you need 2 seperate liceses to be legal.

But assuming the OP has to be completely legal about this I guess you should buy another copy on Steam or wherever. -
This is criminal!

well i can install the game with the actual disk. what i mean is afterwards, when my dad wants to play, and i want to play, we can play the game at the same time, however if obtaining the liscense is just installing i can do that.

No-CD crack is the way to go, don't rip several GB and mount cause it's just silly.
This thread is going to be closed soon though -
BTW, 4 hours and still going, not closed. Suprising. -

Not getting caught doesn't make it legal. It just means you don't get in trouble. You're still stealing from the people making and selling the game and breaking the license agreement.

where would i go to find a legit nocd crack that wont make the game unstable/ install a trojan/ mess anything up?

As noted, this thread is going to be closed since you are breaking the EULA you agreed to when you installed the game by trying to run it simultaneously. You will need to buy another copy to legally play two games at the same time. Thank you.
