    Hello,

I am G703VI owner and my laptop works without any problem.

However, when I open a game and when the GPU voltage is getting higher I hear an electric sizzle noise. Fan noise covers it when it starts but I hear first 30-60 seconds.

Should I worry? What can be the reason and if it can be fixed?

FYI, I undervolted GPU with Msi afterburner and get few celcius lower temps. GPU is GTX1080, I will share a video soon.

This is a common problem with many pascal VGA cards.
If you do not experience any issues during gaming, then don't worry.
The only way to "fix" it is to replace the VGA, but since the G703VI is a all bga laptop, the whole motherboard needs to be changed.
You can try to RMA it, however I don't think Asus will replace the motherboard, unless the buzzing is really loud and annoying.

Yeah sounds like coil whine, it’s normal. I haven’t heard any from mine but if I did I wouldn’t worry.

Sounds fair. Never had this before with my previous G701VIK. I won't RMA for it.

I have watched a video if I limit FPS on games, I will decrease that noise or it will disappear. Would it be the case?

Yeah. I remember my old 7970 graphics card would squeal when I didn’t cap frame rates in games. Totally normal, just a bit annoying if it’s loud.

I limit FPS to 120 with Nvidia Inspector and sound disappear. It may appear again at another game.

Can I limit FPS with MSI afterburner as well? I would like to use minimum amount of softwares.

Yeah you can set FPS limit in RTSS. It's better than the Nvidia driver limiter anyway.
