I just wanted to get peoples opinion of ET:QW...

I've noticed over on the official forums that there are 2 types of posts - people whining about a lack of players, and people complaining that BF2 was better. Having never played BF2, I really can't weigh in on that part of the discussion. All I know is that the original ET was a lot of fun, so I bought part 2 and haven't been disappointed.

As for the "no players" comments I've seen, I've always been able to find a server with real people on it. Sure, it's not as popular as the old ET, but that game was free, and free games get a leg up in my opinion...

So - how about it? Are 100% MP games DOA if they fail to pull in big numbers in the first month? Is anyone from NBR playing QW? I haven't seen any threads mentioning this game since the week it was released.

Maybe a Steam release will boost the numbers.

I never have trouble finding servers with actual people. I like the gameplay as well. I guess I needed somewhat of a change from BF2.
