I have been looking at gpus for laptops and have a few questions.
How similer are these Intel x4500, 8400m, and the 9300m. I would be using the same ammount of ram and the same cpu.
I know the x4500 is intagrated but i would like to know the preformance diffrences.
I know the 8400m can run COD4 on basic settings can I expect the same out of the others?
How much of a diffrence in the battery life will there be with the dedicated gpus and the intagrated one?

8400M GS and 9300M are pretty much the same graphics chip. Between those, go for the 9300, as it does not have the same issues that the 8400 has with temperature.
The X4500 supposedly out performs the 8400/9300, though I have not personally seen the benchmarks. I suspect this is true. -
Best wait until some real benchmarks come out. The X4500 has only just been released.

I saw the X4500 in action at the Centrino 2 Launch.
It sucks.
It's twice as fast as the X3100, which is still godawful slow.
9300M would be the best choice. -
From what I've read the X4500 is about half as good as the 8400 GS. It's ATI's new integrated card, the HD 3200, that is a bit better than the 8400 GS. The twice as good as the X3100 is close to what the X4500 is, though I think it's actually a bit below twice as good. You might be able to get basic COD4 on the X4500, but if you want to be certain I'd go for the 8400, 9300, or ATI HD 3200.

I would only playing on a screen with a max 1280x800 because it probibly will be a 13.3 incher.
And in terms of battery life is there a drop?
