While I was out today I downloaded EvE... But I was wondering if I should use the classic version or the new graphics version.

Do the new graphics work good? or are they going to be hard on my laptop?

The overhauled graphics system is brilliant. But it will be like going from medium to high/very high in Crysis so expect a corresponding performance hit.

If you hop on Steam, the EVE trailer they have is actually the redone graphics update trailer, it allows you to see what the game looks like with the "premium" graphics enabled. My computer runs it pretty well (MBP in sig), just make sure to turn shadows down to high or medium, at extreme they absolutely MURDER my system.

Honestly, after you have seen it all for a year or two it wouldn't make TOO much of a difference, and it doesn't affect gameplay. It sure does look real purty though. :D

I doubt I should have too many problems then if I keep it at a decent level.
