    Hey all,

    I was recommended this game by my friends co-worker. I'm on day 2 and learning at a slow but steady rate. Probably will subscribe at this is one in-depth game!

    So who plays and by what names? Looking for people to play with, talk with, bounce the occasional idea/questions off of.

    My main is Darth Fug, inspired by one of my WOW characters :eek:

    Anyways i'm sure some of you must play as I see the occasional thread with this game title in it.

    Maybe can have some fun and conquer the galaxy! :D

    well i play but don't care about conquering the galaxy, instead i give the miners a bit of company with my projectiles.

    Played for years. Just recently canceled account - got boring/repetitive.

    Fly here shoot this noob, Fly there fight in this war. Fly across the galaxy shoot miners for lols. Mine this rock, sell ore. Buy High sell low.

    You can only do so much. Good game though for like 2-5 years.

    "Conquering the galaxy" is a futile goal in EVE. Conquering an area in EVE might be a bit more realistic. I think the best goals to have in EVE is to enjoy the environs of space, explore, become wealthy, and experiment with ships and PvP (this where the wealthy part comes in to play). But most importantly is to simply have fun in this giant sandbox of a game.

    Also, I highly recommend joining a player run corp if you haven't already. Choose a corp that matches your play style, whether it's mining in high sec or PvP in low-sec. There are corps that focus solely on wormhole exploration, research and blueprint orders, trade routes, etc. Lots of options. But also be wary of scammers. The EVE forums is the best place to check on corps.

    I've been playing EVE for about 18 months. I think it's a great mmo. If you (or anyone else for that matter) have questions or want to chat in-game look me up: Tag Heuer. I'm into mining, covert ops, and exploration (probing). Currently my corp has been war-dec'd so I am unavailable for missions and stuff.
