    Even though this might be cool.... does anyone else think this is rediculous

    Dante's Inferno, A classic book, a cool tale... the only thing I really know about Dante is he was definitely not a BA fighter... I'm pretty sure he actually cried a few times on his journey... This seems to me like someone said AHHH I wanted to make a God Of War type game! but the already covered all of mythology :(... Oh wait a minute! I'll just use classic novels, next we can do the scarlet letter and Hester can use her knitting skills to create magical thread that wiplash's enemies! or we could do the Great Gatsby, and Gatsby can be a sweet Gunslinger who god brought back for redemption! lol I'm just saying they took the game way way way out of context, they shouldn't have called it Dante's Inferno

    But I'm sure it is going to be very fun!!!

    I didn't really care for God of War...it wasn't really innovative imo...just a standard 3rd person action/fighting game.

    I can't view the preview, so I can't judge this game too well, but this sounds like it's going to be a Devil May Cry rip off, which oddly enough I believe takes some of its content/references from Dante's Inferno.

    yea but nobody else see's how rediculous this is! lol they tried to take a classic novel with literally no action and make it into a 3rd person fighter lol! That's why I was making jokes about the other novels even though they are all crap and I could care less... Have any of you read the Inferno?

    I've read Dantes Inferno. I actually think they could make a decent adventure type game out of it. More like a puzzle game or something, than an action game...since there wasn't any action in the book.

    Yea... although that doesn't sell anymore as evident with Myst... Altough Penumbra did very well... anyway I guess it could be cool, maybe like Dante's revisiting to the 9 circles of hell

    I think they missed the point of Dante's Inferno. I also would have like to see an epic adventure-puzzle game thing instead...

    this is just so far gone from Dante's Inferno that I don't see how they are slapping that title onto it.

    Dante is not some bringer of 2nd death in Hell. It makes no sense. Why would you go to hell to kill that which is already dead and doomed to suffer eternally. Where do these things go once you kill them? Hmm... where they already are, perhaps? I. just. dont. get. it.

    It's done by the same team which did Dead Space, if they screw this one up badly it won't serve as an example of EA trying to salvage its reputation.

    Visceral did a tremendous job on Dead Space, I think with the resources and xp they gathered they really are letting themselves go with this one :)

    Ever since god of war... so many developers have been trying to implement button sequences around their games, and try for the same appeal as God of war, nothing yet... but this one looks promising Devil Maycry/GOW type... even if the story is totally BS
