Oh yay! A game I never played and never will!

Does that mean there will be a EQ 3?

Your input is so useful, why even post if this is not your thing?

    I totally agree.

Anyways, might give the game a go once it becomes free just to check it out ;)

EQ3 is not coming. They are doing EverQuest Next, which they've hinted at being EQ1.5. After EQ1 but but before EQ2 events. They haven't given very much information yet.

I believe Everquest Next is for Console too, they are trying to do a full MMO on a console.

Yup, I think you're right. Hopefully they won't hose it up like they with DCUO.

I am actually happy to hear this even though I have never had EQ 2 account. I played EQ1 for 5 years before WOW came out (yes I was such a noob in EQ1 lol) and when EQ 2 came out I had a hard time not buying it but WOW was what my ex gf at the time wanted to play so I caved and we moved to WOW.

I cant wait to try EQ 2 out even though its F2P do you have to buy the game first or do they have a trial F2P version... at work so I cant surf those types of sites until later tonight.

My bad MMO choices continue to 2011 as I have already pre-ordered swtor as my "paid game" for the next few months...

You do not pay for anything. If you want the newest two expantions, you will need to buy those. You have alot of game to play without them.
