I just bought a HP Pavilion DV6568SE that comes with a 8400GS 128mb. In the futureshop website it says it has expandable video memory up to 895mb. I was just wondering how do you use the expandable video memory. I could not find anything in the bios.

this usally means that its dedicated 128mb while the rest is shared from ur RAM the more the RAM the more the shared memory
iti is usally allocated when using graphic intensive application usaully games if you would like more performance and more memory allocated to it try increasing you r RAM to maybe 2-4GB
    cheers

The 8400M GS cannot take advantage of such a large amount of RAM. It means that even if the card can use more memory, it will have little to no impact on the performance on games. Even the majority of high end mobile graphics cards cannot use excessive amounts of memory.
