In XP under the NVIDIA Control Panel's PowerMizer settings there is an option called "Extend battery charge by using less power for the display". What registry setting would this be under Vista?

its probably turning the brightness down, or putting the screen to sleep faster. cant see how they could reduce power any other way.

unless it really means downclocking the graphics card, which is more likely since its in Nvidia.

I was thinking it was "PowerSaverHsync" under Vista but yeah I think you're right that it might help put it to sleep faster or turns the brightness down somewhat. Well in XP if you turn off the extend battery charge then the FPS when using AA won't be capped... at least from what I've heard.
