I went from 2gb to 4gb and my score went up from 4329 to 4343! So an increase of 14!

    yeah!

Anyway...not that significant but just thought someone would like to know.

Such a small increase could be attributed to a number of things. Then again, it might be the RAM.

So far (its been 3 days) I have installed COD 4 and Sins of a Solar Empire on my vista 64 drive (via bootcamp).

Games run just like on my PC ... flawless.

Ack, why even mention that? such a small increase.
Numbers like that change everytime 3dmark 06 is ran. The numbers will never always be exact everytime.

No it is not the ram. It`s hard enough as it is to replicate 2 3dmark06 tests. Never in my entire experience have I got 2 indentical scores except when running the test right after full system instal, vide driver and 3dmark instal, twice. Same 5389(in vista)
Now in XP I had 3 different results, with 3 different drivers(ran 2 tests for each, difference was about 5-10 points)
If you run 2 test consecutively, chances are you`ll get the same result. However,I wouldn`t count on that happening if for example you run the test, then game some, then run the test again.
3dmark is a test specifically for the GPU and the CPU . Extra RAM will only help it if you`re bellow the recommended specs for the test.

if you run 3d mark once, then wait haf an hour and run it again....making no changes to you system at all, you can get a increse or decrease of a few points anyway !

I've managed to get a consistent 3DMark05 score using v1.2 and 1.3 and my setup (see sig). I test when i change drivers to see their effect; 1529 was the best and I got with 174.31, 1528 with 171.16 and 1496 with 163.75.

A 1 point difference is insignificant and I was installing games between these times too. A consistent score during a period of heavy use. Pretty good I'd say.

    uhm lol :D !
Apparently the drivers help a lot.
People with my system were expecting 5200 last year, and with this years` drivers, I have 5573. I`m sure I can reach 5600 with newer ones :D

Congrats! :) I don't know why everyone is a little down on your 14 points? That's a .3% improvement, if you were getting 30fps every 10 seconds you get one extra frame. ;)
