man, you guys are the greatest !! But sorry, I have a cirrus logic with .. maybe a quarter of mhz on both memory and ... ????? can i call this a gpu ?? and i run lotus spirit on dos at 60fps :) !! this is power !! the heat pipe connects to the oven so i can cook saving me oven electricity !!

once again , the gpu ABOVE 580 with shaders above 1160 will get you into trouble sometimes. The mem I tested 900 and got artifacts like 10seconds after using 3d, unless C90 has different gddr3 chips it will not work well any way near 900. I've been doing some test and have do lower and lower till 835 for now.

No I asked him about it and he sees it runs fine at 600/900 with no overheating or artifacting.

OH, that was after this post, I wonder what really happened to his computer, I smell smoke. Then he's got another one Looking for a HP got $5,000 to spend. This guy probally doesn't have a computer except for the one daddy lets him use.

sorry, but i do not test a gpu with 3dmark, on 3dmark i do not have artifacts.
I use atitool 3dview. That litle cube is undoubtful. Or i get a system halt or desktop artifacts and have to restart.

Also 103º is very very close to the bios maximum (110º). When i did my bios mod i lowered from 110 to 105.
My maximum temps are around 90º with atitool after some time. 3dmark are around 85 - 86º. That's why i use atitools 3dview

    I hav a acer 5920g with 8600m gt

I tested lot's of speed and 570/1100/465 seems very stable for me but whenever i play CoH(Ver 1.71 and using DirectX9), within the first few minutes of my game, the screen will hang for 1 secs, turn black and recover in 3~5 secs time. What could possible cause this? My mem speed? core? shader? or my driver? (163.69)

Sometimes this process will happen a few times. Not a big prob but very annoying and vista told me "video hardware failure" in "problem reports and solutions"

    Can anyone help me out?

Everything is back to stock levels. I had a professional laptop specialist re-do the circuitry on my GPU. I'm never doing extreme overclocking again.

How is everybody by the way? I had a busy weekend - sorry I couldn't reply.

u said u couldn't get 424 fps in wow? is that with regular settings or low settings? cause i got 508 in wow with settings all the way down on my ati x1400. that was before i ocd it. and lets face it an x1400 isnt exactly a gaming masterpiece. i can probably go get hyper cam and record it. it was running at 438,450 annd ocd it to 580,570 at 68c at the very most 48c when not playin games. any higher and this nic colorful grid shoes up on my screen and i have a rainbow colored square for a mouse pointer. BTW funny how we never got those pics and he just happened to not be able to respond. Hopefully he wont post pics with in the next 5 min? :/

why does everyone hate me so much?

I made an error. I overclocked at 550/550, NOT 725/725. I posted while @ work in a rush.

I don't want to make any enemies, and if people are pissed @ me, can we have this topic deleted?

As far as trolling other threads/posts, it was immature. It will not happen again. Please delete those as well.

Can we please let this die? You're only fueling his hunger by prolonging the lifespan of this thread. In the end, no one cares.
