The benchmarks tell me an average of 28 fps, if i get to play with the settings im getting up to 30-40, but im always experiencing ~20 fps, sometimes an average of 25 if im lucky, but still, its very very low i think, considering that i run it in 960x600, texture qualitty low, everything else to medium, distances to 10-15, and 1 shadow density, car density to 0. Sometimes im experiencing really good fps like 30 or higher, but sometimes 16-18, wich is absolutely horribile. I know its a very CPU demanding game, but still, i own a core 2 duo 2.4ghz

The benchmark gives me an average of 40 fps but in-game is only about 20-28 fps.

Umm, for your set up that's pretty good. I'm lucky to get 20FPS, both in game and benchmark.

could overcloking the CPU make it run better? During gta it heats up to 68-74 degrees, would it burn if i overclock it?

You cannot overclock the CPU in Hp laptops... TME locked and u need to do pin modd... but u can overclock GPU... I use NVDIA system tools to overclock... but warning ... Dv5t overheats...

I managed to mod my Dv5t till the point that CPU and GPU temps are 70-80C max in gaming with OC on GPU...

    1. I undervolt GPU using RM Clock and Undervolting Guide : Link for Guide http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=235824

    2. I do this to control clocks of GPU since powemixer doesn't work... I had magic or something as my GPU temps dropped from 85C ingame to 70-75C at most ... Link : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=456313

    3. Get A notebook cooling pad.

Your FPS should increase... my OC increased 3D mark score by almost 1K points.
