    Hey guys

i recently installed fear on my notebook and seem to be experiencing some difficulties in relationship to xfire, i cant get anymore than 18fps (even on startup screen) and im sure my notebook can handle more than that.
I was reading in the xfire forums that there is an issue with the two and was wondering if any of you have been able to fix the issue, if so id love some advice and how to solve this problem.
    Cheers in advance

well i know that when i run darkfall with xfire the game runs poorly. without xfire on, the game plays great.

try running the game with xfire off.

i didnt know you could do that, xfire automatically starts when i boot up, is there a way to disable xfire for fear but not the other games etc?

it is in options. uncheck "start xfire when windows starts" or something along that line.

you can also just exit xfire when after it starts, and then start it again.

im not sure if it will work, but it is worth a try.

If your talking about the program Xfire, if you want to use it for other games, but not this game, click tools, then options, then go to the games tab, now on that list find your game, click on it, and check the box on the right that says disable Xfire in game. Click OK and now Xfire won't attach it's self to the game's EXE.
