F.E.A.R 2 goes back to main menu

Hi !

Everything worked fine 'till now. It can't load the next level(the one after the school).

Spoiler :

I got back to my buddies(the lieutenant and another guy) waiting for me a bit further from the place where an helicopter just crashed.
After I came near them we've been attacked by Alma and got to "another world" or whatever it is and then got back to the "real world". My character is falling down and I can see the lieutenant taking care of the other guy.


That's it. A loading screen appears and then I get back to the main menu. It seems to be the end of the school level cause I can choose to play the next one from the main menu but it won't load either.

You should have warn people about your spoiler... Might be a corrupted save or bad install. Try backing up your save file and reinstall the game.

 

Sorry about that. I wanted to hide or anything but I simply forgot.

Could someone who completed the game as much as me send me a savegame ? Thanks

 

Check the net for downloadable saved game files. Sometimes people will post them for those who cannot pass a level or just flat out want to skip them. One website that comes to mind -

If you can tell me the level name and where the heck are the savegames, I can upload it for you .

 

Please don't provide links to crack sites.

 

The Save Game folder should be here : Documents\WBGames\FEAR2\Save on Vista.

I just finished the School level, the next one is supposed to be an infirmary.

EDIT : I found a savegame on the internet, replaced mine with it and it still doesn't work.

 

All I can say is reinstal the game then...And get a different video driver.
