Got it today in about 3 hours on a 2mb connection, thought it'd take longer!

Anyway, I was surprised to see it runs at 1024x768 with all physics and detail/texture options at the maximum on my 2 year old outdated desktop X800 card and it runs pretty **** nice on my Mobility 7400 as well - what gives? I'm happy, but it definately didn't run that good in the original game! :D

Can't believe how beautiful it looks in the middle of a firefight - plaster, dust, smoke and blood everywhere! Anyone else find that even looking the exact same FEAR Combat performs better on their systems then the original game release did?

Yeah it looks really nice in the middle of a firefight!

You can set the game to run at a custom res by a simple tweak in the settings.cfg. I made mine run at 1280 x 800 but I noticed a drop in FPS so I switched back.
