I recently read somewhere that to play FEAR you have to have a screen that is 4:3..Does this mean I wont be able to play FEAR on my Widescreen display on my E1505? Please answer, thanks.

Partly true. If you install patch 1.08 you will get the widescreen support.

    Cheers,

Yeah, im playing F.E.A.R. Combat and the patch 1.08 does add widescreen support but it says below when you select a widescreen resolution that the game was not optimized for it.

But that game has slowdowns even in 4:3 ratio on geforce 7900gs and on dual duocore opteron with 4Gb ram. So I guess optimizing is a foreign word for the FEAR programmers. :)
