It's gonna take me forever to download it :p If anyone can burn the demo on a disc, I'd pay for the DVD blank and the postage! I know I would still have to get the free CD key from their website!

If anyone could help out a new NBR member, I would be greatly appreciated!!!

The last PC game I played was CS ver 1.5! :)

    Thanks in advance!

I tried FilePlanet and off of Nvidia's site and both gave me download speeds anywhere from 9-15 kb/sec. :(

I'd rather have it on a disc since I'm currently waiting for my HDD to get here.

Use "gamershell.com" it's the best site out there for downloading game demos.

To be fair, I doubt anyone here has the time to download the file, burn it to DVD, then post it to you. Sorry buddy. :D

It is not possible to download by torrent? I downloaded mine that way, because the direct downloads were taking forever(the download went from 15kbps to 60)

    I second torrenting...

if you don't have a stable connection/slow speed, then your best option would have to be Torrent...

or alternatively, you could use a download manager like "GetRight" and download the game from servers that support resumable download.

no torrents require you to enable ports so goin threw a torrent aint goin to make a difference. if hes getting 9-15 kb/sec threw HTTP than thats probably his speed, especailly on a site like Filplanet or Nvidia where i get over 900kb/s on download. he needs to just let it download over night.

Just start the download now and let it run for a day or however long it takes. Surely if you've waited this long to play FEAR you can wait another 1-2 days or so.

Well, I'm using gamershell and getting ~20kb/sec. Thanks for the tip :)

F.E.A.R. multiplayer is 83% done and single player is 55% done.

I'll start Call of Duty, Gears of War, Crysis and HellGate: London tomorrow morning :) (I'm a huge Diablo 2 and LOD fan) I'm JUST starting to get back into the PC gaming world again. I've played Gears of War on Xbox360 and Call of Duty on PS3 so I'm excited to play them on my 5760. Do most people play Gears of War with a controller or with their keyboard/mouse?

What is a good torrent program? I get Hotwire DSL connection for free with my apartment lease so I don't know what to do about the download speed. Anyway I can check to see if all my internet connections are operating at the max?

    Thanks in advance!
