I downloaded FEAR Combat from Sierra and now am having problems trying to install it on my laptop. The file is on my desktop. I double click it and it just continues to load forever. Nothing happens. I am currently running Vista, if that happens to have anything to do with it.

Try running it in admin. Or it might be a corrupted download, and you just have to re-download it.

I did try running it as admin (even though I am the admin). But I went ahead and did and still just continued to keep loading. I had to log off then back on to quit it. Maybe I'll just re-download.. :(

Turn off all your anti-virus and spyware programs that scan through files that are being executed. I remember I used to have some anti-virus (forgot which one) that took a really long time to scan through the demo before it allowed it to be executed. Nowadays I always turn off on-access scan whenever I execute a large file which I know is safe.

I guess I'll go ahead and try that. I'm re-downloading the game just in case.
