I updated FEAR to the latest version and after doing so, i can't play the game.

After the bar fills up at the loading screen, everything just goes back into windows and I get an error report message.

Is there any way to download that patch and try to install it again or unisntall it? That could fix your problem. Other than that, you'll probably have to reinstall the game.
I haven't installed the latest patch yet for FEAR, but I'll keep a heads up since you are having issues.

Ya this is a documented problem (as I found out after I installed the patch and had the same error). They were working on a fix a while ago so if you check the Sierra FEAR boards it may be available for download.
