    I've heard the beta so far does not have support for dual GPU setups, has square enix said whether they would be adding support before final release?

    Of course they would. The Benchmark senses dual GPU's. Not to mention that Beta 3 is underway and is currently/going to support them.

    But have they announced it and do the benchmark/gameplay get a significant boost from dual gpus at the moment?

    Remember, they are not even providing hardware mouse support. They might do it but won't at release.
