FFXIV going live tomarrow 30th

World of Warcraft and most mmos don't have depth, all you do is grind and Instance, it is a very shallow form of mmo. Ffxiv is incredibly complex , that's what makes it hard. This isn't for the casual wow player who just wants to level and get rare drops. This is a full on second life, craft and make equipment , Obtain materials to make them, quest and grinding, mingames, market system so on and so on.

It's like learning calc math, you can't leanr it till you know all the basics, which takes time to learn. The game is purposely complex to give a more grander experience, I understand everyone has there own opinion but I'm enjoying the game more and more astime goes on. Achieving goals with friends , helping each other create our own equipment to help, adventure and quest together .

This game isn't for the faint of heart, it takes time to do things and it's surprisingly not like ff in traditional story anime sense

I get 20fps

crysis which looks 100000000000 times better, runs at 27fps enthusiast motionblur off dx10

game developers seem to think more demanding games=better

I got better performance on my Vostro!

It has to be a driver issue or something odd for your case.

 

fun game really enjoying it, but i played ff10 for a long time as well. If instant gratification is your thing ff14 is not your game. It looks amazing on high detail.
