    FIFA 07 or 08 runs very slow on X3100

    Hey.... I have already asked this question but seems like no one ws interested..
    I have serious problem running FIFA 08 on my laptop. I runs but its very slow.

    Following are the specs of my laptop:
    Pentium Dual Core 1.73GHz
    3GB RAM
    Intel X3100
    Microsoft Vista Home Basic

    I have tried other games like NFS-MW, Trackmania Nations Forever, MotoGP3 at medium settings. They work fine. But FIFA 07 nd 08, both run very slow..
    I tried FIFA 07 at a XP lappie. It works fine although the specs are almost the same, and even the IGP is older than x3100. I have installed the latest GMA X3100 drivers (15.11)

    Also, there is one another serious issue (although not related to games). Recently I found that my windows experience index dropped from 3.1 to 2.6 !!
    becuz of the drop in desktop performance for aero, which reduced from 3.3 to 2.6 ( gaming graphics are same at 3.1)....I think but am not sure that this problem occurred after I installed the latest drivers (15.9)...please see if u can relate the problems...waiting fr ur help..

    try rollback your driver update and see what happens

    hey....it worked...i downgraded the drivers to those of april 2007 (15.4) and the performance of both fifa 07 nd 08 (substantially in fifa 08) improved a lot....but now nfs-mw runs like hell....guess its d drivers fault...so wat shud i do...how cn i register a complaint...rather a suggestion...shud i contact microsoft ?
