    I still have not purchased FIFA 09 but in the demo i have noticed that the oppositon goalkeeper always punts(drop kicks) the ball and have never ever so far seen him throwing it to his defenders! Anyone noticed it? Is this the same in the final version of the game?

    ummm dunno what u ment with that but i always throw ball to my defensive players... dont like long gk balls, so uncontrolled :)

    I know, in Fifa I'm forced to do the same.. that's so opposite from real soccer where you ALWAYS kick the ball deep and throw the ball when you want to break out from a counter attack. Fifa is so unrealistic, especially in 09.

    PES is much better IMO. You can kick the ball from your own goalie to your team and actually have a good chance of keeping control.
