I'm torn between buying the latest installment for my laptop or for my 360. Feature-wise I'd much prefer the PC version so I can mod and tweak it to my heart's content and it's also £15 cheaper. My main concern is it won't look as pretty  Can anyone lend some insight as to how my laptop will measure up to the 360 performance-wise or share their thoughts about the game possibly being better optimized for consoles?

    My specs:
    i5-2520m
    GT555M
    4GB RAM

    FIFA 12 (predicted) requirements:
    E6750 2.66GHz/Athlon II X2 245e
    GTS 240/HD3870
    3GB RAM

I know there's not much to go on but any speculation would be much appreciated!

Depends what you want out of FIFA 12. The main fun of the console version is sitting next to friends on the couch and kicking their at it. You can still do that on a laptop of course, but I would go with consoles for sport games.

Just go with whatever version you will have more friends to play against !

Well like I said my only concern is graphics/performance. I've got a wireless receiver that lets me use 4 wireless controllers with the laptop and it's hooked up to my TV so I wouldn't be sacrificing any multiplayer functionality with the PC version...

If you are concerned about graphics and performance I would go with the 360. Plus you will have more ppl to play against if you are an online gamer...

I'd go for the console version, the PC version of FIFA always turns out to be utter garbage while the console versions usually turn out decent to great. No idea why EA still bothers to make a PC version, they can never get it right and can't be making a profit on it.

I've always played Fifa on PC since 95', so I'd stick to it. If it's football(soccer) on console, I'd buy PES.
