Are there any FPS games out there that take advantage of SLI? Rainbow Six Vegas2 doesn't seem to, COD4 already ran at max on a single 260 so no difference there. About the only game I've noticed any difference on to this point is WIC, average 51fps at 1680 X 1050 all high and DX10, actually only get 46 FPS when I switch to DX9 in that one.

Crysis works with SLI but not Crossfire and its a game that it would come in handy for.

Well for me Sli makes a noticable difference in COD4, it's just smoother and doesn't struggle with a lot happening on screen single 8600mgt get's me 30+ with sli I get 60 consistently could go more but I have vsync enabled. I also See huge performance boost in Oblivion, Fear and the Orange Box games Also BioShock and Prey. Use Fraps and check out the Frames per second with SlI enabled and disabled but I think you should be able to tell even with out some kind of benchmark. Oh Also see improvement in America's Army.

Oh lets see:
Gears of War
Lost Planet
Call of Duty 4 as mentioned earlier
Assassin´s Creed
Bioshock
Mass Effect
STALKER
Timeshift
Frontlines Fuel of War
Devil May Cry 4
The Orange Box, i.e Half Life 2

I think part of your problem is that you're running at 1680x1050. I've got a 4870 and assuming all things being equal, even a single 260 isn't getting pushed that hard at that resolution. Outside of Crysis, there's very little that makes my 4870 sweat at 1920x1200.

The Games Mangus said scale with SLI very well.. with Devil may cry 4 the scale is 100%. but i'll have to disagree with lost planet. its has very poor performance with SLI, i dont know why.

The way the OP worded it he is only looking for games that he gets an ADVANTAGE using SLI meaning if he already gets near 60fps its pointless. Thats why Crysis is about the only game I can think of.

Nearly every game out there that has a userbase will have an sli profile.
The problem you are seeing is one gtx260 is enough for your resolution, the second is a waste. In order to put it to good use, use as much AA as you can 8-16x and 32x for older games. However you should really be looking into getting a screen which has a resolution of 1920x1200 at least, that's where sli/cf really comes into play (with AA)
Use nhancer to setup and edit the profiles for the games you have. -
Lost Planet has built in SLI support brainer. I get great FPS with SLI turned on compared to a single card.
-
thats very wierd. i have some crappy performance.. Maybe Because Lost Planet was built at the time where the Unified Shaders came out, so its optimized for thier usage
-
Yes that could be true.

Since DMC4 and Lost Planet are same Engine, then my Theory should be right.. DMC has an updated version of the Engine, which runs butter
FPS Games that take advantage of SLI??
