FPS Shooters with Bots Multiplayer

Hi guys,

I'm looking for quality shooters that I can play multiplayer type games against bots. For example, Counterstrike Source is a good shooter where I can play against all bots.

Can you guys list some good shooters where I can play solely against bots? Does crysis, battlefield bc, etc support bot play?

Black Ops has a training mode in which you can play against bots, also when you create a private game. Same for MW2 when I remember correctly.

 

MW2 does not have bots, svl7.

Battlefield 2 has bots in its single-player mode, which is literally just multiplayer with bots. As mentioned, Black Ops has a training mode with bots.

Also, Team Fortress 2 has bots (they were added sometime in the past year, I believe), although I don't think every single map works with bots at this point.

 

does bad company 2 have bots? how about any of the crysis?

 

BC2 does not have bots, although it has a full blown single player campaign that you should be able to get a few hours out of, possibly more if you hunt down every single collectible.

I've never played Crysis multiplayer, but off the top of my head I don't believe it has bots either.

 

There is a difference between campaign ai and multiplayer bots ai.
Campaign npcs are either guarding small area or attacking. Super predictable and super boring.

 

The game section 8 which was released 2 years ago (not the new one) has bots in it and is fun. Some games like Crysis 2 are supposed to use AI Bots for the enemy as you play so it's different every time you play.

Some folks tried to add bots to COD MW (not 2). It was not vanilla but some work an enthusiast group was working on. I could never get it to work right for more than 5 minutes.

Which also reminds me. FEAR 1 is supposed to have really good campaign AI.

 

Actually, Pezbot works quite well, although the bots look quite stupid.

 

Duh.. it just occured to me. BOTS AND MP .. and all the customizing you could want...

Yeah, good choice Arma series is awesome. But remember that it takes quite the computer to run it! so make sure your computer can run the game before purchasing it!

If you like Battlefield type gaming and Star Wars, i can recommend Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
I love that game, and it got bot support and LAN.

ARMA I & II is quite indepth, but has some excellent co-op multi/single player vs "bots" fun to be had.

BF2.

 

counter strike source also has bots. 1.6 has bots but you have to download a mod for it.

 

Those bots are worse then aimbot hackers.

Any other games like this with bots? Unreal III maybe? Anything else?

 

Unreal Tournament one of my favorite BOT multiplayers. You could check out Unreal Toutnament 3 but I like the original cause UT3 lacked the incredibly fast paced action. UT3 was a bit heavier and slower though Warfare beats Assault.

 

Bought Unreal III on Steam and it's perfect for me. Pace is pretty darn fast IMO.

 

Yeah the pace is what makes Unreal awesome. I just felt that the first one as the fastest, i still play the first one at times.

 

UT is what I cut my FPS chops on The only thing that's even close to as fast action is Quake 3. Had a lot of good times playing CTF in UT. Everything since that just seems slow
