    quick question,Im gona run a series of test w games with my new laptop and I just test WoW and I got a steady 60 FPS all high settings.Is that any good?I have a 8600m gt

    Wow isn't exactly a high end game, so it doesn't surprise me you got such FPS with that card.

    Try Bioshock or Crysis then come back and tell us.

    Does it look good? Smooth? Then yeah, WoW is an older game though... so old games + newer technology = awesome.
    The 8600gt is a pretty good performer for a wide variety of games on the market today. Of course, the 8600gt is a mid-level card, so don't expect the best/highest performance on the latest games. If you're not a gamer/enthusiast, the 8600gt will perform well with mostly anything you throw at. I say this because you probably won't care playing on lower settings as long as the game plays.
