Could you please specify where the option is? (I noticed that some options are not available)

    Turn off GPU Scaling.

    1. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under Display, click Adjust desktop size and position to open the associated page.

    2. Click the image that represents your flat panel display, or non-HD digital display connected to the HDMI, DisplayPort, or DVI connector.

    3. Select Do not scale, then click Apply. / Leave it on Display.

Never ever use DX10 in FSX, it's bugged. I've never heard that someone would use it.

hmmm, now thats strange. i havnt got those settings in nvidia control panel anymore.

this is just a guess but try right clicking on desktop and go to graphics options > panel fit > make sure maintain display scaling is ticked

It was already ticked, however apparently i am forced to use that option because when i tried to untick it it ticks itself on again.
All dx9 games work fine. Im still consfused why it did work last time!

Most of them are for AMD. And they all make use of the scaling option while my cp doesn`t have those option. Why does the gpu not create borders around screen when playing dx9 games?

nVidia does not seem to offer support for OEM card and the Asus site consfused me a bit. The only known fix for the black borders appears to change the desktop resolution prior starting the game. Last time when i had this issue, i was able to fix the issue by changing a few 3D option in the cp but that does not work anymore as well.

I contacted ASUS support and they replied that th cp indeed does not include display scaling and thatvi should use they version of the cp wich i already did prior contacting back

Assuming you have Optimus, you will have to manage scaling using the Intel GPU options.

Right click desktop, Graphics Properties, (advanced mode), Display/General Settings, Scaling...
