can anyone with one of these processors post some benchmarks please (ultra high settings). i can't seem to find any info on any with fsx. seems like my m860tu won't be coming until next week, but my friend wants to swap me his t9900 from his dead np5797 with a little extra. so if anyone can help that would be wonderful as i really want a good processor for fsx as i will be making fsx videos so fps are of real concern. thanks in advance. i will make it worth your while and give rep.

I downloaded the demo and tested it. I was getting a max of 20 fps on high settings until I realised that the demo for some reason had default settings limited to 20 fps

After I changed this to a 60 fps limit and all settings at high (apart from Aircraft detail that kept on resetting itself to ultra), I was getting 30-40 fps, 45+ fps depending on where I was at any particular time.

This game appears to be playable on the 2.0 Ghz Q9000 but I didn't test for long, really not my type of game lol.

This was all at 1680 X 1050 resolutions and the game did appear to be using all cores (according to core usage in Nvidia OSD).

This was just a quick test and I couldn't really figure out the controls but it will give you a basic idea. If my Q9000 can run this at 1680 X 1050 on high, I am sure you won't have any problems.

I would expect a Quad to run it better than the Core2Duo but this is just a theory since it doesn't mean that because a game is using all Cores that it is actually optimised for them (as we know).

A little advice: Those doing the benchmarks, fly in cities. The alps are not nearly as demanding as paris.
