So I've got both cards installed right now, both flashed to 9800m GT vBIOS and drivers installed. They are flashed to an Asus vBIOS because thats what was used with success on the m17x.

BTW I heard some people say the HP 3700m don't work at all on this laptop or not on internal displays... this isn't really true... don't know how this myth came about or if I happen to be running a special BIOS or what.

I haven't tried any other vBIOS yet. Its very strange that this ASUS vBIOS works and that apparently there is some standard MXM 2.1 Asus 9800m GT out there.
I'm not sure if I will need a certain Clevo vBIOS or to get it to work, or a 9800m GTX vBIOS, but I have that and 2 other 9800m GT vBIOS along with an 8800m GTX vBIOS, also I have a 8800m GTX pulled from a d900c... so I haven't given up hope yet... but here is what I'm getting, for only 1 of the cards:

Are you running the same driver version as the one used in that other thread (with the m17x)?

No, should I do that? I'll give it a try.

He got it running with 266 drivers, I don't think they are a big issue.

I don't think its going to work. :(

Furmark does not detect 2nd GPU. HWinfo shows it clocking very strangely. Just tried 9800m GTX vBIOS, no go. I guess I'll try different drivers.

That seems to depend on the MB revision.
Are yours a rev 6.x one?
Mine is an old rev 5.2 one on which Fx3700m and 9800mgtx cannot post on the built-in screen.
That's exactly why I flashed both cards with 9800MGT vbios other than 9800MGTX vbios.

Strange, it should read both 512MB other than 1024MB.

Did you put 3700m in the daughter bay(master slot actually) while 3600m in the parent bay(slave)?

BTW: What version of FX3700Ms are you using? The early ones with Qimonda 1.1ns vram chips or the later ones with Samsung 1.25ns chips?
