Anyone know when it's supposed to release for PC? Checked Games For Windows this morning and not only was it not available but there weren't even advertisements for it. Would normally just get it for 360 but figured for $10 cheaper and achievements still included I'd just try the PC version. Thanks in advance for any info given.

There's no set release date for it announced yet. I'm willing to bet it'll be by Q3/4 2011 though ._.

Review are pretty poor so far. Disappointing seems to be the most frequent description I've read so far. Sorry all I can do right now is just read reviews since I don't use consoles.

Pfft releasing it in December just to escape the "Xmas discount" and sell it for full price because it's "New release" eh :p

It better be released properly without all them bugs like there were in fable 2

This is one i'll get for the 360 but only after it goes to Platinum Hits with all the DLC for $19.99, I know i'm a cheapskate. :)

Hey I bought Fable II PH for $14.98 brand new.

If you were a true cheapskate you would have gotten it for free the other day during that sales blunder

I never played Fable 1 or 2 but I always hear good things. I'm sure I'll pick up a copy of each when I get an xbox

LOL yeah I read about that mistake but I bought Fable II PH several months ago so that would do me no good unless I could go back to the future. :D

You, my friend, must be blind. Reviews so far have been in the upper 80-90% range with a couple in the 70% range. Not to mention that 70% is considered good.

I agree I haven't stumbled upon any bad reviews by players, bloggers, or big news sites. Alot of people say it doesn't live to all the promises and this and that is different. But I think, just like the first one, and the second one, you just take it at face value and try to enjoy the ride you get. Not have a list of promises in one hand and check them off as you play. I'm still looking forward to it for PC.

Never trusted any reviews, there are so many great games I've played that's rated a low 5-6/10, while crap games I've stopped playing in hours are rated at 8-9/10.

Mass Effect is a great game, I think I prefer the first one to the second one in alot of ways even through the second one is a much better game, confused yet?

I prefer how the first game is much more linear and there is much less demand on you to create every moment.

I prefer how the side missions in the second one aren't all the same randomly generated building and that alot of interface has been streamlined. They also have a song from Need for Speed High Stakes playing in one of the early bars. I thought that was so cool I spent 30 minutes in the bar wandering just so I keep listening to the song.

I would agree fzhfzh about alot of underrated games really being quite good, I know this is a PC/laptop forum but during the days of dreamcast I found ALOT of games to br grossly underrated.

I can also say that i Have heard reviewers, in general, feeling disappointed at the game. The multiplayer portion seems to have been kicked up a notch, but I Hear the ending is aggravating and it does not really push the series forward o_o.

Should I get Both Mass Effect from Steam? I'm not sure what's the downside. :)
it's just like StarOcean I prefered StarOcean:Till the end of Time, to the recent StarOcean. The storyline was one of the greatest I ever had. :p

It's nothing like star Ocean, ok there both in space, but really its nothing like the Star (Assuming the PC one is like the xbox one)

If you get Mass Effect one and beat, your charater gets imported into mass effect 2

I would hold off on ME2 until they release an ultimate edition that bundles all the DLC into a cheaper package. Both are great games though....

Yeah, Mass Effect 2 has some amazing DLC. It is particularly great for those who want a mix of FPS and RPG. The DLC are good enough to be sold as a standalone disc, imo.
