I've written a little article with pictures detailing a few optimizations to make Fable 3 run on lower-end hardware (such as most laptops).

Fable 3 PC Performance Guide for Lower-End Hardware High-Tech Monster

My recommended notebook configuration would be one with a 3dmark06 score of 8000-9500 (1280x768res) and a Processor with a 3dmark06 CPU score of 2500 and above.

    Nice post. :D
Its great to be able to turn off all the unneeded crap like blur because it made my game look crappier than it really is.

Yea the game runs at a rock solid 30fps on my laptop and looks much sharper than the 360 version after tweaking it.

The only thing I have not been able to fix is the white flashes that often pop up on the side of the screen. Seems the glitch is Independent of both graphical setting and driver.
