    hey guys,

i love the fable series, but don't really like to use my xbox. i was wondering how well the PC port is compared to the xbox version. i've never played any of the fables for the PC, so i was really wondering if there was a big difference.

i know that fable 2 had a few bad reviews complaining about how it wasn't ported very well.

Fable was pretty good on PC, I found myself having to be dragged away while playing it. Fable 2 never came out for PC though, so I don't know where you saw that? Micro$uck skipped the PC for Fable 2, so they can stick Fable 3 in their FAILBox and choke on it.

Bleh played Fable 2 on the 360. It was a good game but too bad it's filled with glitches and bugs :/ Really a turn off...

I do hope Fable 3 will not disappoint though. I want it on PC and they better make it good >:[

ah, sorry i might've just mixed it up cuz i didn't really keep up with the PC version. i really do hope they port it for the PC though. i really don't feel like gettin back my xbox, from my friend, just for one game. i've owned about 2-3 xbox360's now, and i've ended up givin them all away. i prefer my PS3 and PC.

Fable was indeed good on the PC and I hope Fable 3 would live up to its reputation, its coming out on the PC too.

nice! thanks alot for confirming that fable 3 was indeed coming to the PC. that's a huge relief as i hate the xbox. :p

i should get my NP8850 some time next week. then i can finally finish my SC2 campaign. i was holding it off til i got a machine that could play SC2 on at least high @ 1920x1080 resolution. then it's diablo 3 and fable 3. :D

nice! thanks for making me even more excited. :D

now, i have another problem. i have a perfectly good and working logitech mx400, but i keep finding myself lookin at new mice. i need to quit buyin so impulsively. if i didn't get a new mouse, i was thinkin about upgrading my cryo LX's fans to something even more powerful. then maybe run a 9v power supply to it and call it a day. :D decisions, decisions.

If you got a perfectly good mouse I would keep it. :D But new coolers are always welcome right? The cooler the better :D

i might just do both. i've had my cryo LX cooler for well over 2 years now, and it's still going strong just like the day i bought it. i really love this cooler to the point where it just doesn't feel the same when i game without it. i want to do something nice for her since she's served me so well. :p

i've never really bought aftermarket fans before so i'm going to have to research some good 120mm fans soon. i want something quiet that will push out some nice CFM's. i don't use the cryo LX's USB hub, so i'm gonna run a 9v power supply to it. i'm hoping 9v will be the perfect compromise between noise and power. i could always wait for logitech to have a sale on the g700 mouse. i'm really liking that mouse, but it's not really a necessity right now.

I game with an MX Revolution on a Steelseries QCK+ Mousepad. The Mouse is a bit chunky and the mousepad is gigantic, but it's an EXTREMELY comfortable experience - the mouse is smooth and the mousepad is soft on my wrist. Otherwise, when I'm gaming in bed, I use an XBOX 360 Controller, so that's also an option - I played through Venetica and AC 2 with the controller, not to mention The Last Remnant. I wouldn't recommend the controller for a Dark Void or Just Cause 2 or anything that you need to aim in, including RTS/FPS games, but it's good for RPGs.

Cool, I'm gonna do some research as well since I am also in the market for good coolers, mine broke down after 2 years of usage. And since you don't need the mouse right away, yep, you can hold on for a sale. :D
