Fable III has been announced, but there is still no sign of a PC version of Fable II.

Am I the only one upset/frustrated by this or are others also mad at Lionhead?
Do you think that Fable II will ever be released for PC?
-
I'm pretty sure Lionhead Studio's said that they were not going to port Fable II to the PC
-
It is pretty disappointing to hear, I'm hoping for other ports to come to the PC such as the GTA4 DLC and Gears of War 2. A PC port wouldn't be that costly and you would still make a profit, despite all the piracy that deters them from porting to it.
-
You could just get an Xbox..

PC>console. Why would I want a machine that has limited usefulness and monopolizes my TV while in use? Honestly, about the only reason I'm thinking about an Xbox is to have a Netflix device.

this is the one game I am really hoping for but it just doesn't seem like it is going to happen, also I will never buy another 360, after three of them I had enough of that junk. now I don't have any consoles and prefer pc gaming but we really do miss out on some great games.
-
Fable 2 wasn't that great anyways
-
Microsoft is done with PC gamers. From now on, anything published by MS is likely to be 360 exclusive. We just have to deal with it.
-
yup the best solution is to buy a 360. it's only like $169.99 at Dell store which is 15%-20% cost of most gaming notebook/desktop.
-
Well, we always have the Witcher
Looks pretty similar and I like the style more. -
Man, the PC fanboyism is STRONG with this thread! -
I do have an Xbox 360 which I gave to my brother and which he has fully abandoned, he then gave it to our dad to use as a DVD player
, for now, both of us are PC gamers only.
I would rather have it on the PC, I like to own just one gaming system, an all-in-one machine, have the chance to play it at higher settings, maybe mods, etc. It wouldn't be too difficult to port it to the PC unlike the PS3 for instance and they would still make a profit, even if slight. -

PC gaming is dead, no surprise there. I've always preferred consoles anyway, I think PC (especially laptop) gaming is silly. You're always spending money to upgrade your components, whereas consoles are good for years. Graphically they're inferior but it's not THAT much of a difference to warrant dropping so much cash on PC components.
-
-
You only upgrade your PC frequently if you keep wanting the best graphics, keep staying on the bleeding edge but consoles don't even have that choice where they are locked to the same hardware for years. Many PC gamers still play modern games fine with older components, maybe they cannot play recent games like like Call of Duty 4 at 1080P native resolution, but neither can consoles, same exact thing.
If PC gaming is dying, then why the heck are Nvidia and ATI working on new DX11 graphics cards, more and more console ports are coming to the PC, Steam is doing quite well, etc. -

]this topic is exactly my outrage atm! i refuse to buy dedicated console boxes just because developers abandoned the fully superior pc. lol at the attempts to prove consoles are better. They are for children, and drunk college kids. granted thats not the only people that use them but its the base.
-
Money spent getting upgrading a computer with a bleeding edge GPU - $400
Money spent on console + controllers ~$400
Average amount of money spent per PC game in the last year (thank you Steam sales) ~$20
Average amount of money spent on a console game ~$40-60 (used/new)
I don't think price can really be an argument against PC gaming unless you really don't want to buy a PC for general use (that's where the price jump comes in). -
Don't forget the price of an HDTV as well.
Fable III announced, but still no Fable II PC!
