    Haters be hating. :3

My guess would be that gamers want Microsoft to stop wasting time on the Xbox 360 alone, would be perfectly alright if they maybe had lets say 6 months exclusive on a game then release on PC.
But i want more games released so im supporting the devs by buying Fable 3.
(But for now its Witcher 2 ftw!)

They skipped the second one and now releasing the third one back into PC, it's like missing 1/3 of your memories :p

Releasing this on the same day as The Witcher 2 was a stupid business decision.

    Sent to die.

well my friend got it. I was watching him play it. It seems like the config for this game isnt that great. There are options but there need to be MORE detailed options. I think they combine all of AA bloom hdr and stuff into an "effects" option. Anyone know if theres an advanced config editor or file we can tinker with.

The Witcher 2 intro rivals the entire Fable 3 game :p

I might take a look but already became annoyed at the blatant recycling of NPC's in the clips I have watched on Youtube. How many identical characters can one town have I wonder lol.

I agree with Kevin_Jack2.0, them releasing this the same time as The Witcher 2 is like selling bottled water to the town that just discovered a spring.

It just goes to show how little Microsoft cares. It wouldn't shock me, if releasing on the 17th was on purpose.

Now they'll use the low sale numbers as their justification for not supporting PC in the first place, when the truth is that there was no effort put into the release.

In addition to Microsoft not really bothering about the PC market, I personally think they don't give any consideration to competing products released outside the US and Japan. Is it any coincidence that the most popular PC-exclusive titles with hardware advancements have all come from European developers?

The Recettear analogy comes in handy here, trying to sell water purifiers to a town located above natural springs and deep wells.

The reviews on 3 haven't been real special, combine that with TW2 being available and to me its a no brainer. Witcher now, fable maybe later on the bargain shelf.

It's quite short, finished in a day, though I didn't really do too many side quests. It's not too bad, but IMO witcher 2 is just so much better.

Fable 3 is kinda "famous" in Hungary, but not because it's good, more like because of the "free" gift they are giving for the buyers...yes, a free $5 KFC coupon!

Was really looking forward to this but it just looks bad! Plays very very bad and I had to uninstall it after 5 minutes because the interface is totally screwed.

It has worse FPS than the Witcher 2 and the graphics are late 2010 and it shows so badly, this should have been released on the PC at the same time as consoles because it looks out of date.

Microsoft fail at PC games - how ironic.

I can run Fable 3 just fine.
Its the damn "Effects" eye candy that makes the game look like crap.
Its a sure way to make the PC game look like the Xbox 360 version. :d

    My settings are:
    1920x1080
Everything on Very High exept Effects that i turn to the lowest possible and shadows are at medium.

But if you compare graphics then the Witcher 2 would win every friggen time. lol
(probably gonna get pwned by Skyrim.)

its weird. turning shadows from low to off gives me a 20-25 fps boost in terrain and like a 10-15 fps boost in towns.
