    Fable: The Lost Chapters Startup Error

    I have just installed fable once again on my laptop after more than a year. I was able to play it successfully when I installed it last year but now it won't work. When I launched Fable the splash image doesn't even show up and I get black screen for a couple of seconds. Seconds later I get message saying "Fable.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I have updated both my video card driver and my sound driver. I heard windows blinds doesn't work with Fable but I don't have that.
    I've been try to get this game to work ever since the beginning of the week. Please someone help me I am desperate.
