I'd like to know if I have any hope to play Battlefield 2 in this laptop: 1 GB Ram, 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, Integrated Graphic Card Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family (128 MB total memory).
While trying opening the program, the screen goes black for few seconds and then crash.
Does somebody have a way to overcome it, beside of looking for another laptop?
Thank you.

Make sure its not a problem from the game itself since I have a compatible gpu but I had a hord time make it work too.. with all the patches n everything.

nope, your integrated graphics card just doesn't support shader model and t&l that BF2 and other modern games required. No way of running BF2, that's why you always get black screen upon launch.
there is a shader mod that would allow cards that don't have shader support to run the game, it was designed for Geforce Go 440 cards, though might not work with 945M.
so yeah... better start searching for a new laptop with a dedicated graphics card. -
It wont run it. Sorry man
