Is there any way to trick windows into thinking you have a different graphics card or something?
Battlefield 2 won't run on my computer becuase I have a GMA 950.. but I am pretty sure it would run on LOW LOW settings. Is there any way to do this?
BF2 senses the 950 and won't start.

No, that wont work.
-
IF that would work i would stick with a SiS gpu long time ago.
-
Doesn't matter what your computer or BF2 thinks, the card just can't run the game. If you make thing it's a 7950 GTX (lol) it wont make your game run like it's a 7950 GTX, it's about the hardware, not the software.

the graphics card simply isnt powerful enough to run the game- if it could it would be like watching a slideshow & thats with the settings right the way down.
-
Not possible, and even if it's possible, it'll be very slow and you'll have unplayable FPS (Frames per second)...

Why would you want to trick windows about your video card. If it can't run it, then it can't run it...lol
Even if you do trick it into thinking it's an 8800 ultra...it still won't handle it. -
Would be cool to show it to ur friends that ur Sony TZ got a 8800M GTX in it.. other than that.. it does nothing...

The GMA 950 absolutely will not run BF2 even at lowest settings and lowest resolution, at least not at all playably. You may get 1fps if you're lucky.
-
would an ATI RADEON 345GM be able to run fear at minimal settings?
-
.....
-
Then it would be possible to spoof my system specifications.
I have an Intel Core 2 Quad and 16GB RAM, coupled with 10 terabytes of hard drive in Raid 0 on my notebook. -
Even if you did trick the computer into thinking it was like 8800 GTX SLi, it still wouldn't perform like it.
-
the reason is not performance, just to get the damn thing to let you PLAY the GAME
any ideas? -

i don't know if the intel gma 950 has the capability to play bf2. i don't think it can do hardware T&L. maybe the bf2 engine requires that...
-
I've tried 3D-Analyze to emulate TnL before. It did get me past the system requirements warning but I just got was blackness past the title screen.
