    So I've had the Orange Box now but haven't got into HL2 up until now .

    Should I try this Cinematic Mod 9? I'm only around Ravenholm, if it's buggy I won't mess with it in the first play through though.

    I would always suggest staying Vanilla for a first play through.

    Definitely stay vanilla. The thing I don't like about this mod is that whoever did it really messed up the character models.

    after you beat the game, if you do a 2nd run through, try the mod.
