Can the 9600m gt handle fallout 3 medium or high setting. Recommended requirements are nvidia 6800 series desktop cards. Is the 9600m gt better.
-
Yes the 9600m (both GT and GS) are more powerful than the desktop 6800. Especially in areas modern games require.
From a GPU standpoint, Fallout 3 should run well for you at medium settings.
Whether it's powerful enough to run on high settings, I've no idea. It depends on what you consider high settings.... -
it depends on how optimized the game comes out? nobody knows for sure. you'll probably need the best card to run at max settings and 9600M GT is not one of them.
-
who knows..
-
Well, it does use the same graphics engine as Oblivion, so I'd use Oblivion's settings & requirements should be a lowball estimate for Fallout 3.
-
If the game cameout the same way oblivion did, then you should wait for a year/year and a half to play it properly
-
yea but I doubt it will be as horribly designed as Oblivion was, i hope anyways.

I'd imagine that being the same engine and with the 360 emphasis that this should be a more optimized game than oblivion while pushing graphics relatively less than oblivion did but that is just speculation on my part.
-
well Fallout 3 Vision of distance looks a lil bit closed by stuff like Buildings and cars.
-
I will probably just play it on my 360.
-
if it was like Oblivion on the 360, then good luck.

i dont care about the specs lol. as long as it isnt above crysis i should be fine. imma be ordering my laptop (either a dv5t with 9600m gt from hp or the G50 from bust buy with the 9700m gt) in mid-late september/early october i am definitely getting this game.
*edit* best buy. i didnt just change the word, cause its funny
